.That's me. I can't stand clutter. It goes along with my need to do the laundry and put the groceries away myself. I appreciate the effort to lend a hand, but - don't. Tom calls me a laundry nazi & he's not wrong.
This week I followed the "if you haven't worn it in a year, get rid of it" advice. I had things I haven't worn in 10 years. What's up with that? With the exception of a few sentimental items (my wedding dress, sweaters my grandmother knit & other things people made) it's all gone. I also went through the boxes of things stored in the garage and out of 4 huge plastic totes I kept 3 items. It feels so good. So good that I'm sitting here at 7 am blogging about it. Really. That good.
I find it so much easier to keep to the kind of routine that works best for me when things are organized and in place. Clutter *really* throws me off. So much so that I wonder if it's a Synesthesia thing. I'll have to look into that.
